Greenwoods Counseling Service Benefit June 15, 2018 followed by Open Days for The Garden Conservancy

After a day of very threatening weather, the skies cleared and the sun shone, a glorious evening to have the Greenwoods Counseling Service hold their benefit party at Brush Hill on Friday evening, June 15th.  The roses were in their full glory, a wonderful year for bloom.  Greenwoods had erected a tent large enough to suit a wedding days before in case of rain, along with a smaller greeting tent.  They also set up a bar in the garden itself to lure people in for a stroll while a live band played music wafting over the gardens.

The parking team headed by Wesley did a brilliant job of fitting an amazing number of cars into our parking field.  Over 200 people had signed up and it felt as if almost all of them came.  Just time for us to recover before we were open to the public the next day, Saturday, June 16th, from 10 AM until 4 PM for The Garden Conservancy Open Days and over 160 people wandered through the gardens.  Sunday was time for some quiet.
